Elizabeth began her acting career as a college student when she landed several national Bally Total Fitness commercials. The work made her a union actress, although she'd never seriously considered acting before.

Her interest piqued, Elizabeth began to seek training at the many schools in Chicago, most notably the now defunct Center Theatre, where she appeared in her first production. She relocated to Los Angeles where she trained at the renown Howard Fine Studios. While working in film and commercials, she made connections with like-minded individuals and together they founded Impact Theatre in 1997 (now called Link Theatre). The company continues to be active.

Elizabeth returned to Chicago for personal reasons in 1999. She continued to train and work in the theatre, commercial and film world in Chicago, including Oak Park Festival Theatre's 12th Nite in the summer of 2000. It was there she met her husband, Chris Carrier. On stage, they played characters that tied the knot at the close of the show. The two were married in real life on September 1, 2001.

Recently, she returned to Los Angeles to continue her career and, well, life.
